Steamed Yam Cake (芋头糕)
Another crowd pleaser, this cake is springy on the bite that surprises you with a rush of flavours and chunks of yams inside. It has a generous topping of dried shrimps, spring onions and chinese ham.
A Chinese dish made from the vegetable taro. When served in dim sum cuisine, it is cut into square-shaped slices and pan-fried before serving.
